Management Team

Loc has been DVP, Forza Business Manager since March 2022.  Prior to this role, Loc led the creation of Forza's Integrated Production Services business.  He has over 18 years of experience in designing world class image sensors for medical, industrial, automotive, ultra-high speed and digital cinema.  He is the co-inventor of 8 image sensor patents.  Loc holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering for Cal Poly Pomona and Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Shawn has over 30 years of strategic sales and marketing experience in the imaging semiconductor industry and played a leading role in the introduction of two breakthrough technologies (CMOS image sensors and MEMS) into the mobile imaging market. At Forza Silicon, Shawn is responsible for new market and business development, while helping to maintain major account relationships. Prior to Forza Silicon, Shawn was VP of Product & Strategic Marketing, Senior VP of Marketing & Sales and Senior VP of Global Sales at Digital Optics Corporation. Shawn’s collective industry experience includes holding several senior management positions at Siimpel, Foveon, Micron Imaging, Photobit and the Telecommunications and Electronics Division of Marubeni Corporation. Shawn received his undergraduate degree from New York State University and completed the International Law program at St. John’s University Graduate School.

Leading the Forza Silicon International engineering team in designing leading edge image sensors for medical, automotive and industrial applications, as well as high-end sensor products in the areas of digital cinema and defense. Does technical work on a daily basis, with focus on synthesis and P&R for all designs produced. Management focus is on 70/20/10 model. Before joining Forza in 2009, he worked at SICK, Photobit, Micron, Aptina, with roles as layout engineer, CAD Manager, Mixed signal design engineer, Principal backend engineer, Production manager, VP of Engineering, in locations in Sweden, Norway, Italy, Japan and USA. Holds 8 patents in the Imaging Field and have published numerous imaging papers. Anders received his degree in M. Sc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Linköping

Sam leads the Forza Silicon engineering team in design of custom CMOS image sensors and readout ICs for a broad spectrum of applications ranging from digital cinematography to defense.  Sam joined Forza in 2005 after graduating from the University of Southern California with BSEE and MSEE degrees.  Since joining, he has had extensive experience with sensor bring-up, characterization, failure analysis, debug, and production test to go along with his expertise in sensor architecture, design, and tapeout.

Daniel led the Forza Silicon engineering team in designing leading edge image sensors for medical, automotive and industrial applications, as well as high-end sensor products in the areas of digital cinema and defense. Prior to founding Forza Silicon, Daniel was with Photobit Corporation from 1998 to 2001. He holds 14 image sensor patents and was co-recipient of the Jack Raper Award for Outstanding Technology Directions Paper at ISSCC 2008. Daniel received his BSEE from UC Berkeley and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego.
